A Canadian, born in Caraquet New-Brunswick, currently living on the outskirts of Toronto, Ontario, Erika Albert built a career in finance but always had a passion for books from an early age. Being a mother to her only child, a daughter who is now a young adult, has always been her main focus but those focuses change when children grow up and are preparing to leave the nest. They can also change because life throws you huge curve balls like a pandemic, which can make one reassess their priorities. Following the mantra that we should always strive to find work doing something we love, as then it won’t feel like work, Erika and her daughter looked towards their passion for books and learned the business of self-publishing. This new venture into being their own boss has them not only publishing their own books but also publishing other books for up and coming writers, poets, etc. in different genres such as fiction, young-adult, teen and nonfiction alike, under their company banner Python Publishing.
