E. W. “Buck” Lawrimore is a life-long writer, editor and publisher. He began writing for daily newspapers in high school and served as a correspondent for The Charlotte Observer while attending Davidson College. He graduated with a degree in psychology and minor in philosophy. He then went to work for The Charlotte Observer full-time as a reporter and editor. Subsequently he returned to Davidson to serve as Director of the News Bureau, a position he held with various titles until 1979. During that time he also founded WDAV, a highly-rated classical music station serving the greater Charlotte area, and won a top national award for achieving national and world-wide publicity for the college. He then launched Lawrimore Communications Inc., a strategic marketing, communications and business consulting firm. Over 40 years, the firm served hundreds of business, government and non-profit clients, helping them be more successful. Mr. Lawrimore studied and consulted on business and personal success for many organizations and individuals during that time. He has read and absorbed hundreds of books and thousands of articles on success and related topics, the best of which has been incorporated into his latest book, "How To Be Successful In Life: Discover and Use Your Unique Success Power."
