Montana native, David G. Rasmussen, became a geological and mining engineer--a career that took him to many interesting places, and some adventures. He now lives in Western Colorado with artist wife, Carol Ann Rasmussen. David writes mostly literary-historic fiction that places believable characters into historic incidents. Locations of the actions still exist and are know to David. Historical events and places so fascinate David that his personal library consists of hundreds of books and eBooks mostly taking place in the nineteenth century in the American Northwest and are related to First Native Americans. Racial, religious and spiritual themes are story drivers. When writing about gold and hard rock mining, David writes from experience.
