Darel Ison is a Sales Professional, Real Estate Investor, and Transformational Coach. After becoming a single father when his children were very young, he found himself out of shape and barely living. He transformed himself from a 270lb dying obese, couch potato, riddled with disease and anxiety, to a 185lb active, healthy man who then relaunched his career, and personal relationships. At the same time, he began investing in his future. Darel Ison's well-rounded career in the technology sector began in 1994. It was initiated during his service in the United States Marine Corps, where he earned a B.S. in Computer Science. In the corporate world, he then rose through the ranks as an IT professional, including the roles of Systems Administrator, Network Engineer, Network Manager, IT Director, and VP of IT, all while earning a Master's in Business Administration. Transitioning from a stellar tenure on the customer side, Darel excelled in roles as an IT Reseller, expanding his experience as a Field Engineer, Professional Services Director, CTO, and COO over a few impactful years. Between 2008 and 2022, he further refined his expertise as a Sales Engineer at technology companies, including Hitachi, Pure Storage, and Dell Technologies. As of the book's publication in 2024, Darel Ison is an accomplished Account Executive, showcasing a trajectory marked by continuous success. Beyond his corporate prowess, he has demonstrated financial acumen by making substantial investments in real estate since 2017, concurrently steering his real estate investment business to new heights.
