Brandon Hoàng is the up-coming author of Gloria Buenrostro is Not My Girlfriend (FSG, Spring ‘23), an Untitled Middle Grade (Scholastic, Summer ’23), and Secret of Athria: The Inventor's Eye (IDW, Summer '26). Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Brandon grew up coveting The Baby-Sitters Club books and slurping noodles. Before he was a writer, Brandon spent 10 years as an animation executive working at Nickelodeon and Netflix overseeing shows such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Legend of Korra. Now a television writer by day (currently staffed on Disney’s The Ghost and Molly McGee) and novelist by night, he resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two daughters.
