Billy Hansen played basketball at Regis University in Denver and served as an assistant coach there for two years after his playing career ended. He presently teaches a course at Regis called Mindfulness for Athletes, and is the meditation coach for the Regis men’s basketball and baseball teams. His specialty is “mindful shooting”—training basketball players in the mental side of shooting the ball—and he’s worked with athletes at all levels, from high school to the NBA. With a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s in data science, he’s also a data scientist and writer.
