What drives me as a writer is RELATIONSHIPS, because they lie at the heart of our search for happiness. I am a realist, but also a true romantic, leading my characters towards the light at the end of the tunnel... if they deserve it! I've written nineteen best-selling books, including a memoir, 'For the Love of a Dog,' about a year when my life fell apart. My latest novel, 'THE TWIN', tells the story of Rob and Cath, inseparable twins, who have endured a traumatic childhood, but somehow lost their closeness as adults. When Rob tragically dies, their much hated half-sibling, Oliver, not seen for thirty years, decides to attend the funeral. Cath, furious and grief-stricken, tries to press on with her life, only to find all the difficulties of the past coming back at her, demanding reappraisal and reckoning. Published by Boldwood Books, my other recent titles include, 'THE SPLIT', 'THE OTHER WOMAN', 'GOOD GIRLS', 'SISTERS & HUSBANDS', 'THE LOVE CHILD', as well as revised versions of the Harrison saga, 'RELATIVE LOVE' and 'THE SIMPLE RULES OF LOVE'.
