Alvaro Cuevas is a filmmaker and scriptwriter born in Malaga. He began writing his first science fiction story at the age of 14 and since then he has continued his passion for writing, graduating in Audiovisual Communication and, subsequently, taking a Master's Degree in Fiction Screenwriting for film and television. In 2015 he directed his first short film 'Donde caben 2 caben 3', a comedy that has been selected and awarded in several national festivals, including the Malaga Film Festival. In the following years he delves deeper with more creative stories, but also with social charges, such as 'Miwiwi' (first prize in the II International Scriptwriting Competition of Abcguionistas) or 'Roles' a short film that criticizes micromachismos. In 2017 he made his first Notodo Film, finishing 10th in the most reproduced short films with 'Pop' and finalist in the El País awards. In 2018 she wrote her first feature film 'La chica' and created her first website www.alvarocuevas.es where all her scripts and short films are and where she constantly adds tutorials to help other writers. Today, she is still writing, has many projects in the pipeline and works as a copywriter and script analyst.
