Alan R. Vance is a 100%, disabled Veteran, who suffers from PTSD, anxiety disorders and depression. His Service Dog, Lola (See picture above), helps him through the times these conditions occur. He took up writing about his dreams, that he uses to deflect the bad dreams, on the advice of his Therapist. He has a rather warped humor, (Who? Me?) that he interjects in his books. He was a Counterintelligence Computer Forensics Specialist for the U.S. Army, and then in civilian life thereafter. The experiences he was exposed to, while viewing terabytes upon terabytes of disturbing images, is the cause for his issues. He did it for 14 years, and did it for so long (Most only last 2-5 years!) because the mission was important to our country. This series is his first experience at writing a lengthy item. (Unless you count the long reports I did for the military.) Anyway, he hopes you like his writing. (Please take the time to review my books for me!) He currently lives in Silver Spring, Maryland, with his dog Lola and his roommate “Ed” and his dog, Sophia.
