About this listen
Celeste Styles is starting over. After losing her cherished salon in a suspicious fire, she has finally left her adulterous relationship and her drama-filled life in Brooklyn for the peace and tranquility of Atlanta, Georgia. But when Rah-Lo heads down south after deciding to leave his wife Asia, Celeste is floored and isn't quite sure if she wants to rekindle their affair. Meanwhile, Asia is hell-bent on revenge. Vowing not to let Celeste get away with her man that easily, she too, heads to Atlanta. But just on her heels is Ishmael Wright, ready to save the day and warn his best friend Rah-Lo about his vengeful wife - though Ishmael also has something else up his sleeve.
Secret betrayals are exposed, bitter rivalries explode, love is lost and found. Life will never be the same on the streets of "Hotlanta" in Tracy Brown's epic urban drama.

Story
Law grew up in the trenches. Hustling since the age of 12, his focus was making life better for his mother and brother. Finding intimate love was never a priority because he didn’t have many examples of that around him. Instead, he was taught to focus on getting money, not finding the one. Yet upon seeing her, Zuri pulled something out of Law that was foreign to him. Though he had been with his girlfriend, Whitney, for a long, exhausting decade, he had never experienced a woman taking his heart so mercilessly.

Story
From the moment his eyes met hers, there was something. Time stood still, the world around them vanished, and electricity... instant electricity. Immediately, she owned him in an inexplicable way he couldn’t quite understand. He couldn't escape her. Not in his dreams. And soon, not even in his reality. He was the man that made her soar. There was nothing in the world she wanted more than him. Absolutely nothing. His touch made her levitate. When she was with him, she was limitless. He felt like home.

Story
When souls are tied, it's never goodbye. A boy I was that summer evening I met you, pulling your belongings out of the truck and into your new home. I knew it was love then. A whole man I was the day that you met me at the altar and agreed to love me until death do us part. A shell of a man I've become since it did, unable to move on, move forward, or progress in any way until I discovered that not even death was permanent enough to keep us apart. A better man I'm destined to be, knowing that, at some capacity, you're still with me. Our love is one that never dies.

Another great book by Tracy Brown
The story was so realistic that I could picture everything that was happening. I was sad about some of the events in the end but it turned out to be good. A lot of people can learn a lesson from things in this book. About how you treat people and how speeding rumors can cause a lot of trouble.

Amazing story. Has you on the edge of your seat
Honestly I was initially turned off by the reader. But I am so glad I stuck it out. This is one of the best stories I read (listened to) in a long time! She kept it so real. You didn't yourself loving and hating the characters at different points. You learn the lessons along with the characters. The best thing is that you really don't know how the book is going to end! AMAZING! I will definitely read more from this writer.

Great
I really liked this book and would recommend this book. It had a great storyline and sexual storylines. I wish this book was a movie or TV show. I wish Robin had known how Ishmael felted about her. I also wish everyone knew how Charlotte and Asia put more logs on the fire with Nia craziness. Asia shouldn't have told Nia were Celeste lived. I liked the storyline with Celeste and Bryson, but Rahim and Celeste was. Being the side chick and the the wife is not always a good thing. I would like to read more about their lives. Like how his daughters and son turn out when they grow up. With Asia not changing her lifestyle.

Good book...
Now i like Nicole Small and she depicted the “ghetto” character well but it was annoying. However, the book was pretty good!

So twisted....
The main character was twisted in a love triangle. Her boyfriend twisted in some baby mama, "wifey" drama. The boyfriend's childhood friend was just as twisted with his womanizing and thoughts of being with the main character. Which makes for plenty drama!
