About this listen

It takes a minx to tempt a rogue.

Beautiful and feisty Henrietta Barrett has never followed the dictates of society. She manages her elderly guardian's estate, prefers to wear breeches rather than dresses, and answers to the unlikely name of Henry. But when her guardian passes away, her beloved home falls into the hands of a distant cousin.

And it takes a rogue to tame her.

William Dunford, London's most elusive bachelor, is stunned to learn that he's inherited property, a title, and a ward bent on making his first visit his last. Henry is determined to continue running the Cornwall estate without help from the handsome new lord, but Dunford is just as sure he can change things, starting with his wild young ward. But turning Henry into a lady makes her not only the darling of the town but an irresistible attraction to the man who thought he could never be tempted.

Plagiarizing their own stuff??

The women all "mew" and the boyfriend goes and cups her derriere gently. She bucks with pleasure. Same love scenes in each book-EXACTLY! Oh wait, I want it to be perfect....and this may hurt a tiny bit??
Honestly. The author needed to mix it up a bit. Or maybe write a book about a man. From the mans entire point of view, with a experienced woman. This virginal thing, is a lame theme.

To top it off, Henrietta is supposed to be a paragon. She runs a estate! Then falls trapped into a bogus jealousy rage.

I always enjoy Julia Quinn’s whit and her stories. But the narrator’s voice for Dunford was awful!

The length of the story

It took to long for the truth to be told by Henry to her husband.

I loved how it shows how a misunderstood and how love can overcome all and how communication w each other means so much.
I also can relate not being women enough. so thank you w a possibility to be women enough for one who truly loves you..

Okay story to end the trilogy weak narrative

Just okay story to end this trilogy. Book starts off strong and has funny bits but the middle is weak and looses points that drags the story. To its conclusion. The narrator who did the other two books seems to have a problem with the hero's voice. Its' annoying he is 29 years old and sounds more like 60. The raspy undertone is just off putting. Not the most successful book by this author but still worth a listen to complete the trilogy.

Cute

I loved Dunford. He does become a jerk for a while in this book but I loved him so much in the first two books. Cute book.

Interesting g last half of story

First half of story dragged. Not snappy dialogue as in Bridgerton series. Wretched character voices. Grated on the ears.

The narrator destroyed a good book

What did you love best about Minx?

as usual Miss Quinn's stories are very entertaining and a joy to listen to as well as read. However, Lucy Rayner ruined this book with her horrible narration. Sorry, just telling the truth.

Great storyline

While I do struggle a bit with the narration in this series, this was a good story. I was not a huge fan of the second book with Bell’s story, as I felt like it dragged but I truly enjoy Dunforth’s story and felt that Henry was a perfect match.

Great Story

Thoroughly loved Minx. Ms. Quinn is an excellent writer. She carefully develops the characters in her stories and brings them to life.
