Sexy and keep you coming back for more
Can I please get taken by a King member? I'll marry them in the end if that's what it takes. Those men are apparently hard on the outside until they take the right woman. Even with the complications of the family business and the threats on their lives, they still manage to make it. They are a strong bunch and have each other. The girls are all spit fires as well with a history of their own but with a little something enough to break through the Kings hard shell.
Absolutely love this narrator and so will you!!

Steamy and fast paced
Dark mafia romance, interesting characters, plenty of spice, and an intriguing sub plot. Truly, the main plot here is Julieta and Dante, as she tries to escape her father by stowing away in one of his vehicles after some dubious activities. Dante is immediately suspicious of Julieta, not even if she is who she says she is, and definitely not convinced of her motives. But circumstances force his hand, and he ends up bringing her back the US with him.
There’s plenty of action in this book, both in and out of the bedroom. There are definitely some dub-con like situations, check your tw’s. I was honestly a bit surprised at how rough Dante was, especially when it came to Julieta. He always struck me in previous books as the more reasonable and level headed of the King brothers. But at the same time, it does make sense, as he is trying to prove to brothers that coming back into the family fold is something he not only wants but will be able to handle at the level he needs. Of course, as expected, Julieta slowly works her way under his skin, and vice versa. Julieta is desperate to escape her father and the arranged marriage he has agree to on her behalf. Now she’s not sure what she’s gotten herself into.
There’s a lot of mistrust between these two. They both have grown up in the Mafia life, and it shows. But they have amazing chemistry, and even when they seemingly hate each other, they can’t seem to keep their hands off each other. Getting glimpses of the other King brothers, and there’s even a heart wrenching sub plot surrounding one of our couples from a prior book, was also a great aspect of the book. Overall, it’s pretty much what I expected it would be, and I enjoyed it very much.

I just could not connect with the heroine. Julieta came off as a strong willed woman. But she was a lot of talk and no action. She gave into Daunte’s every demand. I understand he is all Alpha but there was no win with him. The way their relationship developed was just weird. I love Dark Romance and everything about it. I just felt Julieta didn’t get the role she deserved. All we got was her submitting, getting punished, and then accepting her life.
Daunte took & taunted, never once apologizing for his behavior. He was definitely a King, just don’t think he was king material.

Love listening to Thomas Locklear!
Another wonderfully sinful story in the King Family! I enjoyed getting to know the two main characters. Their meet cute is perfect and I really thought the story would blossom from there. While it does move along at a good clip I found I didn't get to involved with any other characters. It mainly focuses on the two. Oh don't worry we do get to see the brothers and some of their wives. That is always a treat!
Overall this is a treat to listen to..Thomas Locklear does a great job and his voice of these characters is so delightful to have in my ears. I look forward to the next one!

Exciting!
What an amazing story! It had everything in it to keep my earbud’s sizzling hot!
Thomas has that sexy growl in his voice that makes his narration over the top. He nails every single story he does.

Love this Series!!!!
If you start this series you must start with book 1, the family is crazy and I love it. If you want Mafia, hot sexy hunks, BDSM (YES), strong heroins (mostly), but most of all excellent plot this is for you!!!!! I own all the books and look forward to the next book.
Narrators are "AWESOME", Piper Stone keep up the good work and release the next book with the awesome narrator!!!!!!

Caliente!!!
It seems Dante has met his match in a feisty Latina lady. They were a match made in hades,
but equal partners. The slow seduction of Dante's heart was mesmerizing to watch. Julieta seemed to blend 8n well with her new family. The suspense and danger/action was riveting. Dante was a living breathing mass of contradictions that I found intriguing. What a first wedding!!!! I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did an exceptional job bringing the characters and story to life, especially the Latina accent. Muy bueno .
