Twelve Palms Ranch

Jesse Bauer has dreamed of being a horse trainer since she was a little girl. As soon as she graduated from high school, she took her first horse-training job. But the Arabian horse industry is a cutthroat business, and Jesse is tired of disappointments and broken promises. She moves to Arizona to take a job at Twelve Palms Ranch. Then she meets Midnight Renegade, a troubled horse with a tough past. She feels a kinship with the horse and decides she is going to help him become the amazing show horse she knows he can be. Can Jesse save Midnight Renegade and find herself in the process?

Jesse is excited to be taking Midnight Renegade to his first horseshow. She just knows that he will make them all proud. But then she meets his owner, and they immediately do not like one another. Jesse’s hopes about her horse’s future seem to be dashed right away. When Midnight Renegade’s owner tells Jesse that she cannot ride him or show him anymore, Jesse is crushed.

Jesse has started to take on more responsibility at Twelve Palms Ranch and Rhett is making real progress. She is feeling excited about the future but then she has to start giving Rhett’s owner riding lessons. She starts to lose confidence in herself and in her position at Twelve Palms Ranch. Will Jesse stay at Twelve Palms Ranch or will she give up her dreams to become a horse trainer?
