The stakes are high as Alex is forced to flee from an alien government that would rather see her dead than be involved in their dealings.

To make matters worse, when running is no longer an option, Alex finds herself face to face with a new enemy, one that the galaxy has never seen before and is terribly ill-equipped to fend off. But Alex isn't going down without a fight. She knows that the galaxy she finds herself stuck in is on the brink of annihilation, and all too many beings are looking to her for their survival. But is her goal to save the galaxy or get back to her family by any means necessary? Even Alex isn't clear on that question.
