Hard working criminal lawyer Elizabeth Montgomery is finally taking a vacation, a solo trip to the mountains of North Carolina to a cozy little cabin in the woods. Unfortunately, she doesn't even get to spend one night there. She takes an early evening hike and ends up on the wrong side of a vicious animal attack.

When Elizabeth just barely made it through her first full moon as a werewolf, she thought the worst was behind her. She was wrong. While she struggles to control her temper and keep her wolf side at bay, she's also juggling her old life as an attorney living in Raleigh, with being a werewolf in a pack in Asheville. Add in the fact that the man that attacked her is now killing women who look just like her, and she has her hands full. Good thing she has Abraham by her side. The werewolf who's apparently her fated mate is the sexiest man she's ever met, and all hers.

So much has changed for Elizabeth in just a few short months. She's now an unemployed werewolf, living with her fiance and his pack in Asheville. At least they figured out who'd been stalking her and killing women in the woods. Though they never did find out if he'd been working alone or not. Then, there's Abraham. The man she's so desperately in love with but can't fully commit to. When she won't set a date for their wedding, he worries she regrets saying yes to him. Can she set aside her fears and marry him? Or will outside forces tear them apart before they can even have a ceremony?
