Meet Marnie Midnight – a little moth with BIG dreams! Marnie Midnight is SO excited to be starting school at Minibeast Academy. She adores everything about the moon and she can’t wait to learn about its magic. But when Marnie starts school, she’s shocked to find out that nobody believes in moon magic anymore! Marnie is determined to get to the bottom of this moon mystery. The little moth and her minibeast friends explore far and wide in their search for the truth. But will they survive a run-in with a rebellious rat or a terrifying out-of-this-world adventure with the Early Bird?

Marnie is having so much fun at Minibeast Academy, a school for bugs tucked into a giant tree at the bottom of the museum gardens. And this term it's time for something really exciting – the Great Critter Contest! The contest sees minibug students set off to explore the school in teams, searching for clues. The winners get an incredible prize and Marnie and her team – best friends Floyd the bee (who is really an A) and Star the super-strong princess ant – are determined to be first to cross the finish line.

Marnie the little moon-loving moth and her friends are embarking on a camping trip with the rest of the Minibeast Academy Moon Club. Staying in a tulip in the meadow, Marnie, Floyd and Star snuggle down for a good night’s sleep tucked up inside their leaf sleeping bags. But when they wake up they realise that they are no longer in the meadow … they're inside a HUMAN HOUSE!
