Garfy, full name Garfield Abercrombie Reginald Fergusson, is an elegant ginger tom with white bib and socks who lives in in Ely. He loves to roam in the large meadow opposite his home. Then, one day, someone puts up fences and builds a Paterson’s Superstore on Garfy’s meadow. What is a cat to do? Garfy adopts the supermarket as his home from home and is their first customer. He rapidly becomes a celebrity cat, loved by the customers and full of mischief. This collection of short stories features the fictionalized adventures of the real Garfield, Ely’s most famous cat!
