Weihnachten im winterlichen Nirgendwo. Tief im verschneiten Wald, weit weg von anderen Menschen. Allein und ungestört, ohne Feiertagstrubel und Stress. Genau so stelle ich mir meinen längst überfälligen Urlaub vor. Dass mein Auto im Schnee liegenbleibt, war nicht vorgesehen. Dass die luxuriöse Blockhütte sich als Bruchbude erweist, auch nicht. Durch einen Blizzard stolpernd, finde ich im letzten Moment eine Zuflucht. Doch die gehört drei furchteinflößenden Kerlen! Drei kernige Holzfäller, kein Gepäck und kein Ausweg.

Halloween. Eine Dessous-Party. Schneeweiße Reizwäsche und ein Paar Engelsflügel. Normalerweise bin ich das nicht. Dennoch bin ich hier. Mein Ex meinte, ich sei zu verklemmt und langweilig. Ich muss mir das Gegenteil beweisen. Dass ich auf einen leibhaftigen Teufel treffen würde, kommt unerwartet. Mit seinem weiblichen Gegenstück habe ich noch weniger gerechnet. Zum Spielball eines Wettstreits zwischen den beiden zu werden, ist völlig surreal. Und ... unglaublich aufregend! Sie kreisen mich ein wie Raubtiere. Ich kann mich nicht entscheiden, wem ich den Vorzug geben will.

Glühende Augen in der Finsternis. Formen, die ich nicht ausmachen kann. Laute, die nicht menschlich sind. Sie haben mich entführt und eingesperrt. Ich bin nicht allein hier drin. Ich soll den Hunger einer Bestie stillen. Die Augen sagen mir, wonach er giert. Es gibt keinen Ausweg. Ich bin der Kreatur ausgeliefert. Doch er weckt etwas in mir. Etwas, dem ich mich nicht entziehen kann. Monster gibt es wirklich. Doch ich weiß nicht, ob sie in der Dunkelheit lauern.
