    |The Delhi during the times of Bahadur Shah Zafar has been compared with the England of Queen Elizabeth I. Parallels have thus been drawn between Mirza Ghalib and William Shakespeare. It seems reasonable why Ghalib would be so fond of his Delhi. In fact, if we go through his letters that he wrote in the aftermath of the 1857 events, it would be no exaggeration to say that Delhi flowed in his veins. This podcast, beautifully curated by Rekhta Studio, is a mixture of excerpts from letters of Mirza Ghalib and his everlasting Ghazals.
