This podcast describes my experience with polygraphs and sex offenders while working as a Sex Offender Therapist for the Department of Corrections. I was fortunate to work with 2 polygraph examiners who were a wealth of knowledge, professionalism and excellence; one was a young woman with her own polygraph business and the other was a retired FBI agent.

This podcast trailed in a few directions, but mostly it covers my preparation for an interview in a jail as a forensic therapist. As I was getting ready everything suddenly came back to me from the first corrections job I had. There was an array of things that I wished someone would have shared with me before my first interview in corrections and also for working in that setting. Sara was brave enough to share her story with us. She explains the tragic twist of events when she learned that her childhood best friend eventually became the sexual abuser of several of her children ranging in ages of newborn to age 11, and that includes her sister... and eventually herself.
