    Our guests this week are-

Blayne Treadgold, Far Post Perth. We chat Perth Glory’s respective men’s and women’s starts to the season and what this weekend's home double header should look like. Perth won’t be competing in the new National Second Tier in 2025. Reflecting on the last few years of A League, have we got enough resourcing and support to make it work? Should another WA team be looking to make the NST? Will distance always be a very hard hurdle for WA to overcome?

Tom Sermanni, Matildas Coach. A League W and Matildas. What’s the plan with the tenure you are working with? Will we see an influx of A League players into the squad to plan for the next World Cup or are you happy with the squad? How can Australia create a winning style and what does that look like to you.

Greg Farrell, Head Coach NPLW Subiaco AFC and Mr Futsal WA. Women’s NPL and Futsal WA news. It’s trials season and there is a frenzy of activity in the football space for young footballers. We discuss what impact the new player roster system will have and how we will fill the newly introduced NPL age and competition levels. How is the Futsal and Football West partnership growing.

Robbie Thomson, Paramount match commentator. National Second Tier and A League. How are numbers stacking up attendance wise. There’s a bit of hype about this being an outstanding season, with a new team and multiple derbies now to look forward to, but there’s a lot of half empty stadiums and with a World Cup campaign needing bucks in the kitty to support a player pathway and fostering talent in the National leagues it ain’t pretty so far. The two NZ teams are pulling in crowds and playing entertaining football! We dissect what’s working and what’s not. Is Australia ready for the National Second Tier and how will the 8 foundation clubs survive a Champions League style competition.
