In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 3:5. Proverbs 3:5 says, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding." We look at the difference that trusting in the Lord makes and how we do it with all our heart. We look at what 'with all our heart' really entails and how we can lean not on our own understanding, choosing rather to lean on God and on His Word. Trusting can be hard sometimes but we see why it's necessary and the difference having God's guidance as an active part of our life will make for us.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 3:4. This verse says, "So shalt thou find good favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man." We discuss how exactly it is that we find favor and what it means to have favor in operation in our life. We look at the difference it makes in every area of our lives. We also look at the importance of having good understanding and what makes it 'good'. We then look at how we find it and the importance of finding these things instead of acquiring them some other way. We can find favor and good understanding, they can be our's today if we take God at His Word and follow His commands.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 3:3, which says, "Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:" We look at the importance of having mercy and truth as central parts of our lives and the difference having them makes. We see the importance of never letting go of them and we see the importance of binding them about our neck and why God specifies the neck in particular. Then we look at why we need to write them upon the table of our heart and what that actually means and looks like on a practical level.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 3:2. This verse says, "For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall thy add to thee." We look at what the difference is between length of days and long life and why the Lord chose to separate them here and we look at why each one is so significant and necessary for us. We also look at the importance of peace and the difference having it makes in our life. These are promises that we all want and promises that all belong to us and it's in our best interest that we have a fuller understanding of what they mean.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 3:1. This verse says, "My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:" We look at the difference it makes in our life when we don't forget God's commands but instead keep them as a main priority in our lives. We also look at what it means for us to keep God's commandments and why God specifies the heart as where we're to keep them. We also look at the significance of Solomon addressing this proverb to 'my son' and we see what that means for us today.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 2:22. This verse says, "But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, And the transgressors shall be rooted out of it." We look at who exactly the wicked referred to here are and we see what exactly being cut off entails for them. Then we also look at who the transgressors are and what being rooted out entails and how we can avoid falling into these same traps that these unfortunate men fell into.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 2:21. This verse says, "For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it. First we break down this verse to see who exactly the upright are and what this land is that they're promised that they'll dwell in. We know no man is perfect only Christ is, so we look at what it means when it calls them perfect and what it means for them to remain in the land.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 2:20. This verse says, "That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous." We look at what it actually means to walk in the way of good men and who those good men are and what makes them good. We also look at the paths of the righteous and who the righteous really are. If we're born again and have given our lives to Jesus, we too are righteous and good, not because of anything we've done ourselves but because of what Jesus did for us and all the benefits of this verse belong to us today!
