On January 20, 2025, on the first day of his term, Donald Trump, rather than try to solve actual problems, made it a top priority to ban Federal accommodation and recognition of transgender people.

This podcast looks at his first Executive Order. I urge everyone listening to read the full text of this order at https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/01/defending-women-from-gender-ideology-extremism-and-restoring-biological-truth-to-the-federal-government/.

This ban has no reason to exist other than to hurt a group of people he and the Republican Party do not like. I urge everyone to write to president@whitehouse.gov to urge for this order to be rescinded. Trump needs to see that Americans actually care about the values we claim to stand for.
