The Prodigal's Return

By: Joseph M. Gonzalez
  • Summary

  • The life and journey of a Prodigal son. I have decided to take a bold step in making my journey public specifically to connect with all the prodigals spread out around the world. You may think you can run from your purpose like I once did, but what you will not be ready for is the cost you will pay. I hope my story inspires you to embrace true forgiveness from the Father. * If you would like to access original written devotionals and products, join me at https://www.patreon.com/FaithBasedMinistries * Follow and subscribe on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/@FaithBasedMinistries365

  • (Video) I stopped speaking to my Father
    Feb 25 2024

In today's episode, "I stopped speaking to my Father", I focus on the complexities between children and Fathers. I share my experience of how I was as a rebellious child, how I treated my Father and the reconciliation I had with him before he passed away 17 years ago today. His birthday was on February 18th and we lost him on the 22nd.

We don't only face these challenges with the Fathers we see, but we also become cold and rebellious towards our Heavenly Father we can not see. We become prodigals because we do not have a connection with Him. When I became a Father for the first time everything he told me, showed me, and taught me hit me at once. That is when I realized just how unconditional love was and why I needed to apologize to him for how I behaved when I was younger. I am grateful we spent ten good years rebuilding our relationship, but losing him also led me back to reconnecting with God which is what he always desired for me.

  • My Valentine’s Card for you
    Feb 15 2024

In this episode, I share a heartfelt card that was written to give HOPE and peace to anyone feeling hopeless. I need you to understand this purposeful statement and let it set you free. You are not broken! The pieces you see broken before you do not belong to you. You are looking at what was placed on you to hide who you were born to be.

Listed below are the verses I shared on the card.

    John 3:16-18
