Welcome to episode 1 of the The Bends, Breaks, and Blends That Shape Our Future podcast!
Many ideas are never shared and because of it, we all lose. History shows us that very few ideas and even great ideas, are original. They represent bends, breaks, and blends of existing concepts. Iteration and innovation at its core.
On this show we will
- Discuss 365 days of ideas
- Creative exercises for adults and kids
- Interview creatives from all walks of live that have, and continue to, bend, break, and blend our futures through their own ideas, inventions, etc..-
- And provide some creations in history that represent ideas that have been shaped through blending, breaking, and blending.
On todays show, we have a remarkable creative in the music video and film production space, Josh Sikkema!
Josh is a Director and Creative Savant focused on bridging the gap between Grand Rapids, MI (his hometown) and Los Angeles, CA.
Josh is a music video director for some of the biggest names in R&B including Snoop Dogg and Mya!
He has also directed a short film called Something in the Clouds, and is the co-founder/owner of Black Pigeon Studios in Grand Rapids.
