Complacency in our lives and churches means we have gotten over the Gospel and stopped relying on the power of the Holy Spirit. We need to wake up and repent. Jesus died to bring the dead to life.

As followers of Jesus let’s endure in love and faith, rid our lives of the Jezebels that lead us astray, and search our hearts for unrepentant sin.

Many times Christians are faithful and contend for the Gospel in the face of adversity, but compromise to the slow, steady, incremental seduction of this world.

The follower of Jesus can live faithful and fearless because Jesus is bigger than death. Do you trust in the finished work of Jesus?

It’s possible to trudge through the Christian life without much joy, believing the right things and doing the right things. This is a lackluster faith and Jesus is calling us to so much more.

The local church must consider what we can do together to bring about positive outcomes in society and in politics. That means talking about the things Kingdom Citizens should be concerned with and what the Bible says about them.

The world of politics can be chaotic and confusing, leaving us wondering what to do. Kingdom Citizens fearlessly and humbly engage in earthly politics as ambassadors on the greatest mission ever from the greatest King ever.

We are all devoted to something or someone. The question for us as Christians is, “Do we have an awe-filled devotion to Jesus?” Acts 2 shows us what a devoted, spirit-filled church looks like.
