Entering as 2 TD underdogs, the 'Bows left the Valley a 1-point victor, giving Coach Timmy Chang a signature win against a rival on the road. Brayden Schager took MWC Offensive Player of the Week honors giving his coach another week of survival on the road to bowl eligibility. The 'Bows had more rushing yards than passing - it's QB leading the workload - and it worked. But is this still the Run 'n Shoot?

And what does UH need to do to beat Fresno? This could be the last time playing in the Valley as the Bulldogs ascend to the PAC12.

  • UH MWC Full Member - The Pros & Cons
    Oct 17 2024

UH Athletics will align under the Mountain West banner with subsidies phasing out, which is a good thing. Yet despite having to foot some bills for the conference, the Big West had its advantages for UH.

The PAC-12 is also still looking for a member while the MWC is equally desperate to get to 8 full members; the pool of available schools shrinking everyday.

Certainly UH had a lot of leverage and was able to use it - and there is more security remaining FBS into the future now -- but was this the "best" outcome?
