  • The Limits of Authority: When Popes, Bishops, and Priests Go Too Far | Fr. Pius Pietrzyk, OP
    Jan 9 2025
Canonist Fr. Pius Pietrzyk, OP joins Conor to discuss the limits of authority regarding the liturgy, clergy assignments, building projects, seminary formation, and parish management. They delve into the difference between a religious superior’s authority and that of a diocesan bishop’s authority. What does it mean for a diocesan priest to be obedient to his bishop? Do religious priests ordained bishops confuse the two? And what are the three branches of government in canon law, which was largely influenced by our American system? Do bishops understand that they are merely the executive branch of Holy Mother Church and thus do not “make law”? Is there a broader agenda in the Church today? • Spiritual Warfare and Exorcism: Staying Hard to Kill in the Spiritual Life | Dr. Dan Schneider
    Jan 30 2025

Dr. Dan Schneider joins Conor to discuss spiritual warfare, exorcism, and staying hard to kill in the spiritual life. Dr. Schneider is a former U.S. Army helicopter pilot, Gulf War veteran, and amateur boxer, and has also worked for many years in the Catholic apostolate of deliverance and exorcism both at the diocesan level and as a founding member of Liber Christo, a movement in conjunction with Fr. Chad Ripperger, SMD which provides tools and resources for priests and laity working in the apostolate of exorcism.

Conor and Dan discuss spiritual authority, rules for engagement with the demonic, angels and demons, the Blessed Virgin Mary’s power in exorcisms, the differences between minor and solemn exorcisms, the purpose of suffering, how demonic manifestation works, and how the reality of exorcisms is much different than the movies. Watch and listen to Dan’s incredible testimonies and eyewitness accounts of the liberating and healing power of God working through His priests and lay faithful.

  • St. John the Baptist: The TRUE High Priest of Israel | Fr. Sebastian Walshe, O.Praem
    Feb 13 2025

Conor sits down with Fr. Sebastian Walshe, O.Praem to explore the life, mission, and ministry of St. John the Baptist. Most importantly, they unpack the historical evidence proving that St. John the Baptist was the one and only true high priest of Israel, and that Caiaphas and Annas were impostors.

Together, Conor and Fr. Walshe examine biblical parallels, typology, prophecy, and fulfillment, considering how these different elements reveal themselves in the lives of St. John and Jesus Christ. They discuss Saint John’s biographical background, the history of the high priesthood, Old and New Testament parallels, the meaning of the words "prophet" and "prophecy", St. John’s connection to Old Testament prophets, his martyrdom for defending marriage, and speculations about his sinless birth.

  • Parenting for Eternity: Death, Judgment, and Heaven or Hell?
    Feb 20 2025

Tim and Conor sit down to discuss Conor’s popular book, Parenting for Eternity: A Guide to Raising Children in Holy Mother Church. They explore the essential question at the heart of Catholic parenting: How do we raise our children with eternity in mind?

Together, they dive into key themes from the book, including the importance of creating a vision for parenting, the role of suffering in raising holy children, whether a deeper focus on eternity would lead to more or fewer kids, and why caring for both body and soul now is essential preparation for the life to come.

They consider parenting through the lens of the Four Last Things—Death, Judgment, Hell, and Heaven—highlighting why Catholic parents must raise saints by preparing their children for their ultimate destiny. From teaching kids to think about death in a healthy way to the Church Fathers’ insights on death, the power of the Rosary, and the reality of Hell, this conversation is a wake-up call for parents to instill both the aversion to sin and the hope of Heaven in their children.
