  • Which story is true?
    Feb 15 2025

    False Story:

In January 2025, a Chinese tech company announced the invention of a smartphone that could communicate directly with household pets. The device, allegedly powered by advanced AI, claimed to translate barks, meows, and even hamster squeaks into human language. The company showcased a demo where a dog "asked" for more treats.

    True Story:

In January 2025, Mariia Zelenina, a 22-year-old Russian mermaid performer, was attacked by a Chinese sturgeon during an aquatic show at Xishuangbanna Primitive Forest Park in China. While performing underwater, the fish suddenly inhaled her head. Zelenina managed to free herself, losing her goggles in the process. Despite some bruises and eye pain, she was taken to the hospital and is now resting. She clarified that she was not pressured to return to work and maintains a positive attitude, considering the experience a joke.
