Ash takes us through the highs and lows of fostering—sharing how she learned to set boundaries, carry the mental load, and still open her heart to hound after hound. Her first foster fail, Freckles, became a Free The Hounds poster boy, and Horse, her “soul dog,” left an unforgettable mark.

Now, after a short break, Ash is just starting to foster again. She describes fostering as the best thing she and her partner Marcello have ever done.

This episode also highlights how Free The Hounds is standing behind foster carers like Ash, advocating for an end to greyhound racing—because when the racing stops, the endless stream of dogs needing homes will too.
