  • Why Some People Succeed Faster—And How You Can Too
    Apr 10 2025
“You’re Closer Than You Think” What if the reason you haven’t hit that next level yet… is because you're treating your goals like a hobby instead of a profession? In this episode, I’m sharing two of the most impactful success principles that separate the elite from everybody else: repetitions and deadlines. I’ve spent 30 years working with some of the best athletes, entertainers, and entrepreneurs on the planet—and I’m telling you, these two fundamentals are the quiet edge they all rely on. Whether it’s Steph Curry taking 500 shots a day, Adele putting in over 2,400 hours of rehearsal before her Vegas residency, or Tiger Woods grinding on the range for 10 hours a day—greatness isn't random. It’s repetitive. It’s intentional. And it’s scheduled. Most people don’t have a “talent” problem—they have a rep problem. And they’ve trained their brain to tolerate procrastination because they never assign a deadline to what matters. In this episode, I break down how high performers lock in success before anyone’s watching—when it’s quiet, when it’s boring, and when no one’s clapping. Your standard isn’t how good you are on your best day. It’s how consistent you are when you're tired, stressed, or distracted. You don’t separate yourself during the performance—you do it in the preparation. This episode will challenge you to raise the bar on your reps, sharpen your focus with deadlines, and finally own your craft like the pro you were born to be. Key Takeaways: Why reps matter more than raw talent How Steph Curry, Tiger Woods, and Adele stay elite The three stages of mastery: Awkward, Mechanical, Natural The real reason your brain avoids deadlines—and how to flip the script How to activate your subconscious and unconscious mind to work in your favor Why pressure is a privilege and how to use it to your advantage It’s not miles away. You’re one rep, one deadline, one decision closer than you think. Let's get you moving. • Navy SEAL’s Guide to Mastering Uncertainty with Rich Diviney
    Apr 8 2025
What If You Could Train Your Brain to Thrive in Chaos? Let’s face it—life doesn’t always go according to plan. And if you’re like most people, uncertainty can feel like quicksand. That’s why I brought Rich Diviney back on the show. He’s a former Navy SEAL, a brilliant thinker, and one of the most practical minds I’ve ever met when it comes to performance under pressure. In this conversation, we don’t just talk about facing fear—we talk about how to operate at your best when everything around you is unclear. Rich breaks down what he calls the Uncertainty Method, a six-part framework designed to help you stay calm, focused, and effective when the stakes are high. We get into how your brain actually responds to stress, how to manage your energy like a pro, and why picking the right "horizon"—your next small target—is the difference between quitting and making it through. This isn’t theory. It’s real-life application that I’ve used in my own life, and I promise you, it works. There’s a moment where Rich explains the power of asking better questions—how a single shift in language can literally change your brain’s chemistry. Instead of asking, “Why does this always happen to me?” what if you asked, “What can I do right now to move forward?” These aren’t just mindset tricks. These are tactical tools that can help you lead better, parent better, and live with more clarity in uncertain times. And I loved how we ended the show—talking about identity, leadership, and why the best teams don’t follow one leader… they shift leadership based on who’s best equipped to lead in the moment. That’s how you build trust. That’s how you build results. Key Takeaways: The difference between peak and optimal performance—and why optimal wins over time A 6-part method to stay grounded and productive in uncertain, high-stress environments How to use breathing and language to rewire your nervous system on demand Why chunking your goals into manageable “horizons” helps you avoid overwhelm The four elements that create trust on any team: competence, consistency, character, and compassion This episode is loaded with wisdom you can use the moment you stop listening. Rich doesn’t just talk about resilience—he lives it. And after this conversation, you’ll be able to say the same. • How To Make Time For The Things That Matter MOST

In this special mashup episode, I brought together two of my closest brothers—Brendon Burchard and Dave “Heavy D” Sparks—to unpack the real strategies high performers use to make time for the things that actually matter. And I’m not talking theory—I’m talking about what we’re doing right now in the middle of our own crazy schedules. Brendon and I are both in the thick of it—back-to-back talks, travel, building companies, families, friendships. You name it. But we still find a way to show up, stay in control, and protect what’s most important. We share the real stuff here: managing emotional bandwidth, setting expectations with your family, compressing time, and why you need to schedule your rest like it's a meeting with your biggest investor. Heavy D jumps in with a powerful reminder—not everything has to change overnight. Start with what resonates. One principle at a time. That’s how you build momentum without burning out. And we don’t shy away from the hard conversations—like learning how to say no, taking ruthless inventory of your schedule, and teaching people how to engage with your time. I also share one of the most life-changing ideas I’ve ever implemented: the six-hour day. Yeah, I run three days in one. If you're still operating on a 24-hour mindset, you're already behind. And we wrap this up by talking about how your energy, your faith, and your perspective are the most critical assets you have in a busy season. You don’t have to do this—you get to. Key takeaways from this episode: - How Brendon Burchard structures communication during intense seasons to protect relationships and energy - Why setting emotional expectations with your family and team is a leadership skill - Ed’s three-day method: shrinking a 24-hour day into three 6-hour blocks - How to create leverage by eliminating, delegating, and shortening tasks - The importance of scheduling rest and treating it like high-value time - How to stay spiritually grounded when life is moving fast - Why your mess might be the thing that qualifies you to change someone else’s life - The mindset shift from “I have to” to “I get to”—and how that changes everything - Fitness and hydration as non-negotiables for sustainable energy - How to be the power plant in every room you walk into This one’s packed with real talk, real strategy, and a whole lot of heart. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, this is the reset you didn’t know you needed. Let’s get after it. Hits just keep on coming!

Ed never fails to get interesting guests on his show. I'll think to myself "hmm, never heard of this person," then I'll listen and it will be great. example. I'm not a fan of football, but listened to the Stephen A. Smith episode and it was great!

excellent episode!

I hope you, Ed Mylett, got as much going I did out of this episode 2 1/2 years later, as the economy is circling the drain with a socialist president asleep at the wheel.

God bless all conservatives!

Introspection and creation

Ed has the incredible ability to cause introspection within the listener, to dig deep with what they know true in their heart and figure out what action they can do the create the life they were born to create.
It’s awesome to have access to some of the most influential and powerful leaders in a wide array of fields.
So powerful, if you let it!
Thank you Ed!

wow! just wow!

Tim Tebow's interview literally saved my sanity. Saying I am grateful to have heard this interview in under-stating how I feel. Also this is one interview where Ed let the guest lead us with his words, wisdom and encouragement. Thank you Ed for this program. You are saving lives.

Ed is my inspiration to Max Out my life!

Ed Mylett has developed into the type of leader, mentor and Christian that I would confidently walk into a fire with trusting his heart to lead me to safety. I too am a sinner saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, who is looking to serve more people for the greater good. Thank You Brother for lighting the way for those of us still walking through the darkness!
