  • 129: Surviving Jeffrey Epstein with Lisa Phillips
    Jan 27 2025
Today’s episode is about surviving abuse, and I’m joined by Lisa Phillips, an abuse survivor. She shares her horrifying experience of surviving abuse at the hands of Jeffrey Epstein, along with so many other young girls. Lisa hosts a podcast called From Now On, where she dives headfirst into stories of abuse and recovery. Join us. The irony of sharing a history of sexual abuse with a partner (“They want to abuse you in the same way you were abused.”) It’s hard to leave a relationship if you are trauma-bonded to that partner. I can't imagine a person this would not help

I feel as if everyone should listen to this podcast. If it doesn't improve their life, it will prove the lives of people around them because they will be exposed to an alternate perspective.

KC does it again

TikTok, the audiobook, the book, the ebook….ive loved them all and KC doesn’t disappoint. I appreciate how mindful she is of guests and making sure they’re the right guests (not just finding people to fill a spot or satisfy a PR-quota), and the thoughtfulness she clearly puts into researching and planning the questions (or maybe she’s just naturally this great on the fly! A natural storyteller and interviewer:) ) - thank you KC for everything - one of your original messages of Housekeeping is not a Morale Issue was •LIFE•CHANGING• for me.

Organizing for the overwhelmed

I'm really enjoying KC Davis' podcast. I see a lot of podcasts started by experts from other platforms that feel like rewarmed tiktok/insta/whatever, but this podcast seems to be offering fresh insight on her core philosophy. Maybe it's because she can have guests here? Whatever the reason, it's a great podcast. I enjoyed this one specifically for discussion of why/when to organize as much as how.
