Mohan was very happy as it was a Sunday. He could relax as did not have to go to school. Their maid Shanta Bai was not coming today as she had to attend some function. Mohan somehow did not like Shanta Bai as somehow he felt his mother was spending more time with her, giving her instructions, supervising her work and less time with him. Today he will spend time with his mother with no disturbance. He ran to the kitchen. Mummy was busy making the food. Side by side she was also laying the table for breakfast.

Once upon a time there was a king who had seven Queens. He was a very humble, generous and very understanding person. Of all his Queens he was very fond of his youngest queen and would spend more time with her. The Little Queen too was very much like him. The other Queens never liked this as they wanted the king to be with them and just do as they pleased. They would complain and had so many demands for themselves that the king never enjoyed being with them. On the other hand the youngest Queen would spend her time either in household chores. Despite being a queen herself she was never ashamed of doing her work. She treated all her servants with respect and because of her loving nature she was very popular and respected in the kingdom.

Akku is a six year old girl. She lives with her parents, grandparents, uncle and aunt. Hers is a large family. Akku loves her family very much.

One day Akku feels extremely bored and goes to her mommy. "Mommy, I want to play with you." "Sweetheart, I'm a little busy right now. I'll play with you after I finish my work." says mommy. Akku feels sorry for her mother because she has a lot of work to do and cannot play with her. "Never mind mommy. I'll go and play with daddy." says Akku smilingly.
