Have you ever felt like God gave you a dream or a promise, only for it to seem delayed, or even unfulfilled several years later? In the Bible we see many situations where God promised His people great things, but if He hadn't put a "pause" on the promise, the full magnitude of His glory wouldn't have been revealed in its entirety! We know that God works everything out for good for those who love Him, and has plans to give us a hope and a future. We also know that God is always with us and working in our lives, even when we can't see it. God knows the big picture, so we can trust Him with the outcome of our lives, and know He is for us!

As a church family, it is important for us to hear the different voices of the body of Christ! This Sunday, we continue our on-going God Stories series by hearing the testimonies, trials, and personal stories of those here who have encountered God in miraculous ways. We hope you are encouraged and receive a renewed faith as you listen the real life experiences of people here, and know you aren't alone in your own struggles! Today on our annual Commission Sunday, we the complete our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting with the anointing of our pastors, elders, staff and leaders, and each individual and family in our church. We pray God's blessings over you as we begin our journey through 2025!

On our annual Vision Sunday, Pastor Jeff recaps themes, progress as a church, and all that God has done last year in 2024, along with the words and vision He has heard from God about the year to come in 2025. This year, our word is to Return to our First Love. We need to remember God's sovereignty and priority in our lives, and how everything else good flows from Him.

We are now a full week into our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting! This Sunday, Pastor Jeff continues our series in the Gospel of John in chapter 12, where Mary pours expensive perfume onto Jesus's feet. When we are walking in the will of God, nothing we give up for the Lord's sake will be in vain. Even if we are struggling in the process, there is joy on the other side!

Today we kick off our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting as a church! Fasting and prayer are powerful tools for drawing near to God, and help us become more sensitive to God's voice. Throughout this fast, be open to God's interventions, as change often comes when we least expect it. Let 2025 be our "comeback," as we recognize that no matter how dire our circumstances may seem, God has plans to prosper us and give us hope and a future.

As we stand on the brink of a new year, it's a time to reflect on the past and look forward to the future. The transition from one year to the next is more than just a change of date; it's a divine opportunity for new beginnings! Reflecting on our words for 2024, Honor, Harvest, and Resurrection, Pastor Jeff gives us insight on how to continue bringing these values into 2025.
