  • I Know the ONE (song)
    Feb 11 2025

    "I Know the ONE'

Produced and arranged by TheChadly (at) suno.com

    Video production c/o Pre-Nicene.org

    Graphics c/o MarcioniteChurch.org

    Lyrics: (Verse 1)

They tell me love and wrath are one,

    That mercy wears a sword.

They preach a kingdom built on fear,

    Call vengeance holy war.

    (Pre-Chorus)

But I have heard a sweeter voice,

    A love untouched by shame.

Not bound to laws of blood and stone,

But grace that speaks my name.

    (Chorus)

I know the One, the true, the light,

Not the shadow veiled in might.

Not the fire, not the flood,

But the Father of endless love.

    No curses, no demands—

Only hands that call me home.

I know the One, the Christ alone.

    (Verse 2)

They call it justice, call it right,

    To fear, obey, and kneel.

But how can love be born in chains,

Or life be signed in steel?

    (Pre-Chorus)

    Oh, I won’t bow to Sinai’s weight,

    Or kneel to earthly kings.

My heart belongs to One alone,

The Christ who sets me free.

    (Chorus)

I know the One, the true, the light,

Not the shadow veiled in might.

Not the fire, not the flood,

But the Father of endless love.

    No curses, no demands—

Only hands that call me home.

I know the One, the Christ alone.

(Bridge – soft, then building up)

No blood was spilled to quench His thirst,

No law was writ to make me worse.

He spoke of grace, He healed the blind,

He called me child, He made me shine.

(Breakdown – spoken word, echoing effect)

Not the one who wars and schemes,

Not the one who rules through fear.

Not the one of dust and death,

But the One who draws me near.

(Final Chorus – full power, driving beat)

I know the One, the true, the light,

Not the shadow veiled in might.

Not the fire, not the flood,

But the Father of endless love.

    No curses, no demands—

Only hands that call me home.

Saint Marcion saw the truth revealed,

Through Christ alone, our God is real.

I know the One, the Christ alone.

    (Outro – quiet, reflective)

    I know the One…

    I know the One…

    And He knows me.

  • Was There a 'Virgin Birth' Story in the First Christian Bible?
    Dec 28 2024

At first it seemed like a simple question with a simple answer - but like with most things concerning Pre-Nicene Christianity there turned out to be much more to the story, including the removal of the word 'virgin' from the gospel of Matthew. Publication of this episode was deliberately delayed until a few days after Christmas to avoid any unnecessary controversy.
