All the Christian churches came together for an open air service in the Square on Good Friday morning, with around 200 people.

The Reverend Amanda Sim spoke about the troubles of everyday life - from violence, abuse, to addictions and depressions - and said "you are not alone."

The Salvation Army band led the singing and after a Blessing of the town, people went into St Peters for Hot Cross Buns.

In the very atmospheric and ancient venue of "Chithurst Church" Jack Finch catches up with returning guest Christopher Sparkes who's notable recent work was his translation of the bible; "The keys of the Kingdom Holy Bible". Given Chris's passion for unlocking the story of Jesus, Jack wanted to hear his thoughts on this time of year and what it means for him, they also talk about the history of the little Norman church which hosts the interview and an event that took place there in the early 1700s!
