  • The November Wind That I'm Standing In: EP 7
    Nov 7 2024
I recorded this November 1, 2024 and it was nice to do a journal/ rooftop recording. I allowed my spontaneous thoughts to be as free flowing as the wind that was tossing around the leaves and swaying the trees. It was just a quick catch up with to see where I'm at in this moment of time. I hope you enjoy. Walter P.o.p. Matthews IV

  • The Cosmos and The Canvas: Episode 6
    Oct 30 2024
In episode 6, I return in real-time on 10-25-24. It was a clear, crisp Autumn night, and when I go out on my rooftop in the middle of the night, it's always the recipe for inspiration. The big dipper, the crescent moon, and the constellations were my audiences for my 21-minute monologue. My most extended recorded one take to date. I felt fully immersed in this ocean of planets, solar system, and galaxies, all contrasted by the blackest void of space. While recording, I saw two meteorites (Falling stars), which enhanced my experience. I named it The Cosmos and The Canvas because I felt like my words were painted, and my imagination was the empty canvas and was as vast as the universe I was staring into. I plan to continue these rooftop recordings and release the others I've already recorded.
