    Teen Leadership Academy is a program that connects our businesses, schools, community, governments and non-profits to rising Seniors in high school. Meredith spills all the details on how to apply for the program, what the participants will get to do, and more! APPLICATIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED NOW so get to the Chamber website ASAP and click on Events, then Teen Leadership Program to apply!

    Applicants will need to provide two recommendation letters. Letters must come from community leaders, faculty members, club advisers, etc. Only one (1) of the letters may be from a school academic faculty. Letters may not be from a parent, guardian, or relatives. For information on submitting these letters, please review the application.

    In 2018, the inaugural class was started right here in Tipp City and Bethel Local School districts. The committee consists of business leaders who see the need to create an opportunity for Juniors, entering their Senior year of high school, to grow and connect within our community. Any student within those parameters, who reside within the Tipp City and Bethel Local School Districts are welcome to apply.

She digs into ALL the details and updates us on a bunch of events coming up in March and April, 2025! As listed on the www.downtowntippcity.org website, she covers the Train Depot Cleanout event (3/1), the St. Paddy’s Day Beer Crawl (3/7), the Preservation Assessment Workshop with David Mertz (3/10) and the "No Joke! We love Volunteers!" event, taking place on April 1. She also adds updates on two NEW events!

    Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in downtown Tipp City with our annual festive beer and seltzer crawl, to be held 3/7! Stroll through participating merchant locations, enjoy 4oz. samples of craft beer and seltzers at every stop, and soak up the lively Irish spirit. Grab your friends, wear your green, and join the fun – it’s the perfect way to cheer St. Paddy’s Day! 🍺 Sláinte! 🍀 Tickets will be limited – you don’t want to miss out on this year’s beer crawl!
