The New Orleans Saints should absolutely look to re-sign Paulson Adebo for Brandon Staley's new defense. He would be a perfect fit because of his blend of football IQ, physicality and coverage ability. His scheme versatility and experience as a wide receiver would make him perfect for a pattern-matching system like the Fangio-like scheme Staley runs.

Demario Davis and Pete Werner are solid linebackers, but their speed, range and athleticism may not be enough to support Staley's system beyond 2025. Investing in the future at the position may be a sound investment for the Saints as they embark on their new defensive future.
