  • An Introduction to the podcast (plus why I chose this name for it)

    This episode of the MMMM podcast is an introduction to the show (although I should’ve done this on the 1st episode!) I talk about my own story with the eating disorder, what I came to learn through the recovery process, and how my understanding of flourishing is an intrinsic part of helping you get to a place of full recovery.

    I also explain the title of the show because it doesn’t scream eating disorder recovery! What I don’t mention is that this title came to me a long time ago when I considered writing a book but dropped the idea because I figured I have nothing of interest to share. That voice of self-doubt we can always count on said: You haven’t run a marathon, you haven’t climbed a mountain, what will you write about?

    Until I realized many years later that I’d done both with the eating disorder recovery—and I want to help you do the same. So tune in and enjoy!
