  • Mansfield Mysteries is a satirical, cozy murder whodunit, featuring the inquisitive, martini-loving socialite Dorinda Mansfield. Set in quiet, affluent Berkshire Bay, and told over nine hilarious episodes, each three-chapter story finds Dorinda wrapped up in a new murder. With the help of her devoted daughter, Stacey—as well as the occasional frenemy—Dorinda digs for clues, navigates Berkshire Bay’s elite social circles, and sifts through years’ worth of grudges and motives. In this company town, no one can be trusted, and everyone has something to hide. Whether at the Labor Day Extravaganza, the Halloween Tennis Club Open, or secret karaoke night, Dorinda sets out to find the real killer before they get away with murder… Just as soon as she orders her martini!

Funny and engaging mystery series

I absolutely love this series and I cannot wait for them to come up with new episodes! I stumbled across this trying to find a funny mystery podcast and I was not disappointed. The southern accents of the "Belles" are absolutely hilarious.

Loved it.

Very funny in the way that those relatives are that say all the unPC things that make you cringe but laugh on the inside. Now add the best kind of cozy mystery to that.

Confused by Order of Episodes

I am wondering if the episodes were uploaded in the wrong order? The oldest episode which should be the start of the season actually ended up being the season finale?? So, I inadvertently listened to the penultimate episode solving the crime right off the bat, and it spoiled the whole thing . I was totally confused the entire episode so maybe should have realized? After that I didn’t want sit and listen to the rest. I am still unsure if the order is intentional and the point is to start at the end and then find out how they got there?? The performance was okay, there were a couple of times people sounded like they were talking through a tin can and one character had a super annoying fake posh voice that was insufferable but I think it was intentional?
I hate to leave a bad review after not listening to the entire season. Maybe someone else understands the order of episodes or can confirm it’s uploaded wrong? Maybe it’s just my phone?
