Local Spotlights: Mel Woods/ Urban ReLeaf

  • Summary

  • How can data and technology support decision-making and change in response to societal challenges? And what role can environmental monitoring and citizen science play? These are just some of the questions we discuss in this very special episode with Dr Mel Woods. She is an artist, researcher and Chair of Creative Intelligence at DJCAD/ University of Dundee. We talk in particular about Urban ReLeaf and the potential of citizen-driven data ecosystems, and more generally about the intersection of creativity, technology, action research and social innovation.
