Growing up in South Louisiana, she’s always been progressive, but it wasn’t until the 2025 election that she felt truly pushed to get involved. In this episode, Toree talks about how she’s been working to become more intentional, dive deeper into the issues, and build a stronger community by connecting with neighbors and learning from others who are already doing the work.

    Grass & Roots is all about collaboration and education. It’s a place to connect the dots between the challenges people are facing, the solutions they’ve already come up with, and the steps we can all take. Through real conversations and shared experiences, Toree hopes to create a space where we can learn from each other, inspire one another, and lift each other up.
