The weekend’s events in Syria that saw the fall of the decades-long regime of Bashar al-Assad unfolded at lightning speed. The fall of Damascus has been well reported, and analysis of the geopolitical consequences and projections of what may happen now are equally receiving much air time. However, in this brief special episode, our purpose is to get straight to the point of what many of us will be pondering – where might we very specifically direct our intentions and prayers? Suggested Intention Focus for this week

Among many that we might choose in the wake of the fall of the Assad regime in Syria, we suggest this week holding as our main intention :

We will wisdom for the new controlling forces and caretaker prime minister in Syria to quickly determine a course for their country that will restore peaceable civil order and that does not discriminate against any minority group.
