    Join me as I dive into the mysterious events of the Battle of Los Angeles—a strange, high-intensity event that took place on the night of February 24, 1942. Was it really a Japanese attack, or something else entirely? I will explore the theories, the cover-ups, and the lasting questions surrounding this infamous, bizarre episode in U.S. history.

    If you want to drink with me, the recipe for the Saints of LA is as follows:

    • 2 oz silver tequila
    • 1 oz pineapple juice
    • 1 oz fresh lime juice
    • 1/2 oz agave syrup
    • 4-5 fresh basil leaves
    • A splash of club soda
    • Lime wheel, for garnish

    Muddle basil leaves in a shaker, then add ice, tequila, lime juice, pineapple juice, and agave syrup. Shake for 15 seconds, strain into a highball glass with ice, and top with club soda. Garnish with a lime wheel and enjoy!

    If you want to drink with me, the recipe for the Crimson King is as follows:

    • 1 oz rye whiskey
    • 3/4 oz Campari
    • ½ oz Punt e Mes Vermouth
    • 1/4 oz Heering cherry liqueur
    • 1 barspoon coffee liqueur
    • Garnish with a grapefruit twist

    Pour all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice, and stir with a spoon. Garnish with a grapefruit twist!

In this episode, Me and Sal will dive into the chaos surrounding the newly released Jack Smith 174-page report detailing the investigation into President-Elect Donald Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election results. This will be my only political episode this season...so, buckle up, buttercup and welcome back!

    If you want to drink with us, you will need vodka, lime juice and ginger beer.

    The recipe for the Moscow Mule is as follows:

    • 2 oz vodka
    • 4 oz ginger beer
    • ½ oz fresh lime juice
    • Garnish with a lime wedge

    Pour lime juice and vodka in a copper mug (or glass) with ice, fill glass with ginger beer, and stir with a spoon to mix. Garnish with a lime!

    The poison in this episode is the Old Cuban.

    If you want to drink with me, you need rum, Angostura bitters, lime juice, simple syrup, mint leaves and champagne.

    The recipe for the Old Cuban is as follows:
    2 ounce of champagne
    1 1/2 ounce of Rum
    1 ounce simple syrup
    3/4 ounce lime juice
    2 dashes of Angostura bitters
    6 mint leaves

    Muddle the mint leaves, simple syrup and lime juice in shaker. Combine rum and bitters with ice. Shake ingredients until chilled and double strain (use two strainers) aka fine strain into a coupe glass. Top with champagne.
