Both watched new medical dramas: 'The Pitt' on Max and 'Doc' on Hulu. Fellow podcast host Dominick Pupa brings his talk show experience to the podcast to discuss the new Jerry Springer documentary on Netflix, sharing lots of behind-the-scenes tea and production chatter. • New Year + Squid Game With Jordan Brodsky
    Jan 4 2025

Hungover, tired but ready to jump into 2025, Jordan Brodsky, a friend of the pod, joins the ladies for the first episode of the new year. Felicia starts with her review of the Andy Cohen/Anderson Cooper NYE show. Marni immediately dives into the show of the year, 'Squid Game Season 2.' How lucky we are to have Korean pro, Felicia, who spills the tea on some of the actors with new insights only she would know. Marni thinks the show is outstanding and works really hard to avoid spoiling it. It was a big week for movies with 'Mufasa,' 'Sonic the Hedgehog 3,' and 'A Complete Unknown.' But it was definitely Nicole Kidman's performance in 'Babygirl' that got Marni and Jordan talking. This is the movie of the moment and brings up some sexy thoughts and non-stop giggles. Big shows are coming next week - tune in for the details.

Top scripted picks include 'Industry,' 'The New Look,' and more. Daryn shocks Marni with one of her favorite movies of the year, 'It Ends With Us,' which naturally leads to a conversation about the Blake/Justin scandal, rounding out the pop culture news of the year. Marni can't get enough of 'Wicked,' and Felicia shares her favorite Korean show of the year. Daryn, the true crime pro, fills us in on top crime stories of the year and makes predictions for 2025. • Feliche Navidad and 50!
    Dec 21 2024

The reviews are in! Felicia is a hit, and the listeners want more—even though she is tired. Felicia dives right into her Korean show suggestions, excited to share her current watch, 'When the Phone Rings,' on Netflix. Marni discusses the allegations against Brian Alvarez, star of 'English Teacher,' as well as Karen Huger's bodycam DUI footage post-crash. Marni loved 'Black Doves' on Netflix, while Felicia did not. However, they both agree that viewing Jason Bateman as the villain in the holiday movie 'Carry On' was enjoyable. Marni and her husband get into the new Aaron Rodgers documentary, 'Enigma,' on Netflix, and the bizarre, strange show 'Kings of Tupelo' as well. Dorit from 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' receives the much-needed praise she deserves. Winding down 2024 with the 50th episode!

  • Warts & All
    Dec 14 2024

After catching up about Dorothy's ruby slippers and the big Golden Globe snub (Jonathan Chu), Felicia reveals she started and finished Apple TV's Drops of God. She loved it but wasn’t as impressed with Netflix's new series No Good Deed. Marni’s viewing of the Christopher Reeve documentary on Max sparks a deeper conversation about pulling the plug and whether they would want to live as paraplegics. Superman was a hero, but these ladies admit they don’t feel as heroic. Jamie Foxx’s Netflix special stunned them with his multi-talented array of skills—entertaining and touching. The standout performances of the week were Jeremy Strong and Sebastian Stan’s in the Donald Trump biopic The Apprentice. Tune in for laughs, deep thoughts, and more.

  • Docs + Lindsay Roth
    Dec 8 2024

The family is all back together, feeling healthy, and ready to chat about all the new content dropped this week. Starting with films such as 'A Real Pain,' which Marni thinks will get an Oscar nomination for Kieran Culkin. Also discussed are Clint Eastwood's 'Juror #2' and Kristen Dunst's flick, 'Civil War.' Marni didn't expect Felicia to watch the new 'Girls Gone Wild' documentary, but she is super grateful she wasn't part of that on-camera debacle. 'No Good Deed' comes highly recommended, but the disappointment of the week has to be learning about Lisa Frank in the new Prime documentary. The ladies are joined by Marni's old friend, Lindsay Jill Roth, who has a new book coming out next year titled 'Romances & Practicalities,' which Marni thoroughly enjoyed. Listen for a fun poop story and more advice on how to juggle relationships in modern times.

  • Movie Madness With Dan Brown
    Dec 1 2024

Felicia may be tired post-turkey, but Dan Brown joins the ladies to discuss a ton of content! Marni's husband, KC, is absent with a stomach bug, leaving Dan as the sole commentator this week. 'Wicked' is the current obsession, although Marni's son recommends 'Moana 2' for kids because of its manageable length. Dan provides an in-depth look at Demi Moore's 'The Substance,' while Marni dishes on 'Nightbitch' starring Amy Adams and 'Between the Temples' featuring Carol Kane and Jason Schwartzman. Apple TV receives much praise, from 'Silo' to 'Shrinking' & 'Bad Sisters,' whereas Felicia is hate-watching Billy Crystal's 'Before.' 'Say Nothing' on FX is highly recommended, though not for Felicia. Marni's true crime doc of the week is the JonBenet Ramsey special on Netflix, and the must-see reality show episodes are from 'RHONY' and 'RHOSLC.' It's a great conversation to tune into.

  • Landman Jon Hamm
    Nov 23 2024

Felicia has been quite busy this week attending cocktail parties, events, and more. She may not have had time to do any of Marni's assignments, but for some reason, it really does not seem to matter. The theme of the week appears to be KC, Marni's husband, who constantly chimes in with jokes, mostly about Jon Hamm. Felicia did not watch 'Landman,' but maybe Marni saved her an hour since she and KC did not like the new Taylor Sheridan show on Paramount. Marni and Fel watched 'Doctor Odyssey' for one reason—John Stamos and Marni could not get through even 1 episode of 'Cruel Intentions' on Prime Video. Meanwhile, Felicia started Ted Danson's new show on Netflix, 'Man on the Inside.' Marni binged 'Silo' on Apple TV and is viewing 'Say Nothing' on Hulu, enjoying both. 'RHOBH' is back with a smoking Dorit, and yes, Mauricio is still hot. Looking ahead, the ladies are excited as Wicked weekend approaches!
