Today's episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast comes from a range of questions I've received around maximising webinar attendance.

    Let me explain...

Whenever I do podcast episodes about webinars, I get many questions about webinars afterwards. I've received a lot of different questions, but in essence, they're all asking the same question.

The types of questions I have been asked are:

"What do you think about the strategy of offering a bonus resource to people if they attend my webinar live?"
"Do you think it's a good idea if I do a prize draw for live attendees who come to my webinar to maximise the number of people who come?"
"What do you think about webinars with no replay so that people have to come and watch it live?"

In essence, every single person is asking me how to maximise the attendance at their webinar.

I thought I'd lump all those questions into one juicy, tangible episode of the podcast on how to maximise attendance at your webinars.

Let's dive in and get your webinar attendee numbers skyrocketing...

This is such a special moment for me, because I have been a fan of today's guest for a very long time. Not only that, I have had the absolute pleasure of mentoring a lot of graduates from this person's coaching qualification. I'm talking about the one and only Julie Parker!

Julie is the founder of Beautiful You Coaching Academy. The graduates of the Coaching Academy are just different (and we talk about that a little in our interview). I think the rigour Julie has applied to delivering her services is almost unmatched in the online coaching and business world.

In this episode, Julie and I dive into a range of different areas, including niching, marketing, and building your confidence in your messaging and your brand through building and developing your craft and your delivery for your clients.

Have you noticed how extreme business, marketing and strategy advice can be on the internet at times?

I remember when I first started my business, there seemed to be these extremes of people telling you that you ALWAYS need to do a certain strategy or you can NEVER do a certain strategy. And it really hasn't changed much over the years!

There's one strategy in particular that I still see people advising either it's the best way to do things or it's something you should never be doing in your business, and it seems to be the one where people are either all for it or completely against it...

That is doing single sessions as a service-based business provider, as someone who works in a coaching or mentoring space. Either the advice is never to do single sessions, or you should always offer single sessions.

In today's episode of the podcast, I want to break down the strategic role of single sessions and why it's never an all or nothing, why there's always a place where we can find a reason to be doing single sessions, and some times where you might decide not to offer them.

Today's podcast episode is quite a rant, but it's also practical to help you improve your messaging significantly.

In this episode, I want to discuss the difference between process-focused and outcome-focused messaging, and how to incorporate a strong balance in your messaging so that you're not leaning one way or the other.

I'm going to talk about the pros and cons of each and talk about some of the risks of being overly focused on one over the other. I'm also going to break down some agitation, admiration, and yucky marketing strategies, and we'll probably get ranty about some things in between.

I've noticed in recent years that there has been a big move towards outcome-focused messaging in the online business space. But I want to break down what outcome-focused messaging is and why I think that it's not a better alternative to existing messaging strategies, and in fact, it's just a small part of the messaging puzzle.

As more and more people are getting into full swing in their business for 2025, I thought this was a great opportunity to discuss your social media strategy.

If you've got plans and goals related to social media for the year ahead, I want you to be honest: Are you confident that the time and energy you invest in those strategies will generate sales?

In today's episode, I'm sharing the missing link between socials and sales. It's a link that far too many business owners are missing.

If you're starting to feel like social media takes up too much time, or you want to ensure that you net results from your social media efforts, this will be a powerful and practical episode for you.

In order to explain and help you connect that missing link between socials and sales, we need to start by outlining how someone goes from seeing your social media content to actually buying from you.

This is the buyer journey. It's something that has been oversimplified in a lot of cases.

The buyer journey is often oversimplified because so-called "experts" don't have the depth of understanding of buyer psychology.
