This special episode was recorded in Honolulu, Hawaii at Washington Middle School, the school Jake attended many years ago. The conversation begins with Jake reminiscing about his wonderful memories of his time in the band room and how drumming led to him creating his unique ukulele strumming style. The two go on to explore Jake’s amazing career and how a chance meeting with Jimmy Buffett in a surf shop changed his life. As the conversation wraps up, Larry and Jake share their plans to completely refurbish the band room in the summer of 2025 as a gift to students at Washington Middle School.
