LOOK OUT! It’s only Films To Be Buried With!

Join your host Brett Goldstein as he talks life, death, love and the universe with the award winning screenwriter, playwright and author PETER STRAUGHAN!

Fresh off Peter's Oscar win (and multi nominations) for Conclave, here's a rare chance to catch him in non-promo mode and in post-win glow mode. It's a really great one, a free and easy, breezy and fun catch up with these two, as you get to hear about all sorts of cinematic rocket fuel for Peter as well as a ton of awesome behind the scenes goodies. Expect gems involving his gravitation towards certain stories and themes, awards season chaos, to be on set or not to be, how the subconscious escapes through writing, wallpaper secrets and muddy elves. And of course so much more. Upper tier Patreon members get a chance to stare at this particular G.O.A.T. too in the video version so consider that option if it takes your fancy. I just wanted to crowbar that pun in. That's on me. Enjoy!

Video and extra audio available on Brett's Patreon!

LOOK OUT! It’s only Films To Be Buried With!

Join your host Brett Goldstein as he talks life, death, love and the universe with comic, actor, writer and poet TIM KEY! This is the second and final part...

As well as being a unique individual in his own right, Tim is also one of those 'six degrees' people who you can get to and from just about anyone involved in comedy and screen. It speaks well how much Tim is adored in the wider world but also Tim is just awesome in all roles. Whether you met him through one of the various Alan Partridge projects, or through Taskmaster / Alex Horne-iverse, or through appearances in all manner of manifestations, you'll get a ton from this episode (and the subsequent one!) as it's just good times and good vibes from the beginning. In this second part you'll hear more from the glorious mind of Tim and get that necessary closure from the first part, resulting a feeling of overall contentment and fulfillment. Enjoy!

Interesting people discussing interesting movies!

I've been enjoying Brett Goldstein's performance in Ted Lasso and was intrigued by his podcast.

An extra thrill was hearing that Edgar Wright liked The Ruins, a horror movie I worked on!

Brilliant podcast with a lovely host

I love this podcast. Brett Goldstein is funny and kind and sooooooo interesting. plus he's Roy Kent! I discovered films that I've never heard of and rediscovered films I had forgotten about. Take a listen. You won't regret it.

The movie that made me sob cry...

The Fall (2006). The scene with the pills and later with the monkey. Full on ugly, cathartic, sobbing, hyperventilating tears. I had never even heard the name Lee Pace, and now every time I see him play an elf king or a blue Ronan, I feel like he's being wasted. (And this coming from someone who loves elf kings and the MCU.)

Love this podcast. It's delightful in all the ways the Office is not.
