I want more!
I listen to a lot of podcasts. I have really enjoyed true story ones, such as Murder in Hollywoodland and Bear Brook. This listen is very similar in style and presentation to those.
I have always been interested in Jonestown. I was four years old when it happened, but I can remember seeing news reports of it when it occurred.
I did not have any expectations for this work, but I really enjoyed it. Very well done.
My only problem with it is it left me wanting more!

Somber & Touching Account of the Tragedy
This was the story of one of the few survivors of the Jonestown massacre. Not exploitative, but touching and somber. Very well done. Difficult sections were handled tastefully and it really gave you a sense of why people joined, and how good intensions went bad with the paranoia of Jim Jones.

True evil.
I’m obsessed with the Jonestown tragedy, so anytime I see something new about it I’m all over it. The horror of it keeps me riveted, and no matter how many times I hear the story I am shocked at what happened. I have not heard Tim Carters version of this. Thanks, Audible for the podcast.

Such a Terrible Tragedy That Still Echoes
This was hard to listen to, but I was a teenager when it happened so I wanted to know, to fill on the blank.
The narrator did a fantastic job. I kept forgetting it wasn't the man who lived through it. I hope this story helps to be a reminder as to how people can be.

AMAZING STORY
This was a great podcast. The story is heart breaking but it was told with so much details about what was really happening within Jonestown.

Very gripping
I am glad, I listened to it - but it will haunt me for days to come due to the nature of it. I think it is a documentary that is important to hear, yet I most definitely would not let my kids listen to it ‘till they are mature enough to decide for themselves.

I remember this.
I can’t believe how sheeple follow. The sheep’s that followed such a charlatan should be guilty of killing their own children.

Thank you Tim Carter
I have been waiting a long time for Jim to either write a book of his own or give an extended interview. He was one of the last to do so. I always found his POV interesting and needed to be added.to.the existing written work. I just wish Stephan Jones.would write a book from his POV. as well.
